If paper could talk, this little note of mine will tell you the strength with which it is written. In fact, it is not the note that matters, but the amount and depth of gratitude and appreciations it is conveying, as words alone cannot express the depth of sorrow and sadness of your departure from earth. Mum, I thank God for your life on earth and also thank you and Dad for bringing us up in the way of the Lord. Thanks for imbibing honesty, truthfulness, integrity and perseverance as part of our upbringing. Thanks for teaching us how to fish (via good education), so that we can eat fish for the rest of our life. Thanks for teaching us the spirit of contentment and appreciation, whether be it little or much. I thank God for granting you good health during your lifetime on earth. I thank you for empowering me and teaching me how to listen and love. I thank you for always loving me and guiding me. As you depart to meet your maker, i pray that the good Lord would forgive all your shortcomings (as there is no one that is perfect/righteous) and grant you eternal rest in His bosom until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will miss you so much. We love you mum, but God loves you more. You and Dad as God's general, should now continue to watch over us your children on earth and continue to guide our path aright till the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Adieu greatest mum.
